Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, University of Georgia
Allie’s love for children at first led her to consider teaching, but when she discovered speech-language pathology, she realized it was the perfect combination of what she enjoyed most, helping children and working with families.
Allie is passionate about client-driven therapy because she believes it is important for therapists, patients, and parents to be on the same page in order to see progress. She has worked with children with feeding disorders, voice disorders, cognitive-linguistic deficits, motor speech disorders, and speech and language disorders and children with autism, aphasia, cleft lip and palate, traumatic brain injuries, apraxia, and other conditions.
A lifelong Georgian, Allie grew up in Macon, received her bachelor’s degree at UGA, and obtained her master’s degree at Georgia State. Although she loves the Atlanta city life, she also enjoys being outside – playing golf, going to the lake, hanging out at the park, and visiting her family’s farm in Macon are among her favorite pastimes.
