Sundas Mushtaq, M.S., OTR/L
Master of Occupational Therapy, Brenau University
Bachelor of Health Science, Brenau University
Sundas was exposed to pediatric therapy throughout her childhood because of her brother, who has Down syndrome, and because of him she always knew she wanted a career that involved helping other people. Sundas has a knack for cultural sensitivity and family perspective, and has experience working with children who have behavior issues, hyperactivity, sensory disorders, autism and other developmental delays. Due to her combination of professional and personal family experience with disability, she is knowledgeable about and can assist with transitional care for older adolescents.
She has received continuing education training in Integrated Listening Systems (iLS), Self-Regulation Alert Program, and Sensory Integration. She is currently running and developing a Life Skills program specific to adolescents and young adults with disabilities at Kids Creek.
She enjoys crafts and spending time with her family, loves to talk, is an avid devotee of ice cream, and loves to work with kids because she is one at heart! Sundas lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two daughters.
